安 & Chuck Dever Regional Park, formerly known as Oyster Creek Regional Park, has 315.6英亩土地, 50 acres for active use, 120 acres of environmental land, and 36 acres north of the creek. The park was built in 2007 and funded by 1998 Sales Tax, 2002年销售税, 公园 and Rec 影响费用, the Florida Communities Trust Grant, and the 娱乐 Trails Program Grant.
The Oyster Creek 水front Trail connects the 安 & Chuck Dever Regional Park with Cedar Point Environmental Park. The trail allows unfettered access to both parks, providing trail users the opportunity to experience both parks’ marine life, water fowl and flora from a unique perspective by allowing them to traverse Oyster Creek under SR 775. The trail can be accessed by either the Oyster Creek Environmental Park or Cedar Point Environmental Park.
安 & Chuck Dever Regional Park Pool is a heated, twenty-five yard competition pool with a shallow water play area, 活动池, attached dive well-equipped with a one-meter diving board, and wheelchair ramp for accessibility.
The need for a regional park recreational center was identified in the 1998 and 2002 sales tax. The 23,000 sq ft recreation center was constructed in 2019 and funded by the 2014 1% local sales tax. The recreation center promotes healthy lifestyles and activity by providing a fitness center, as well as a multi-purpose gymnasium, 社区花园, and multi-purpose facilities to support active/healthy lifestyles.
